Our standard

We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We check new pages against those guidelines before they go live.

What we've done

• Every page works with a keyboard, and a "Skip to main content" link appears first.
• Pages use proper headings, landmarks and lists so screen readers can move around them easily.
• Every form field has a visible label, and error messages are linked to the field they describe.
• Photos have text descriptions. Purely decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
• Text and buttons are designed for readable colour contrast.
• The site works when zoomed to 200% and on small phone screens.
• If your device is set to reduce motion, animations are turned off.
• Class times are published as real text tables, not images.

Known limitations

• Google Maps: the map on our contact page is provided by Google and may not work fully with every screen reader. Our address and directions are always written out as text beside it.
• Downloadable documents: some PDFs, such as fee schedules, may not be fully accessible. Ask us and we'll send the information in another format.

At the school

If you or your child need any accommodation to take part in class, such as a different way to learn a technique, a quieter spot, or extra time, please tell us. Grand Master Cha and our instructors will work with you. If you have questions about getting into the building, call before your first visit and we'll walk you through it.
